Like every morning, I went in to wake the sleepy human mom this morning. I wouldn’t bother, but it’s the only way I can get my spoiled-kitty soft food for breakfast. It’s pretty easy to wake her up usually. I just tickle her with my fuzzy whiskers. Works almost every time. When it doesn’t work, teeth and claws are a great standby.

Anyway. Today I woke up the human as usual and Kaleesi went to the kitchen to wait for food.  We waited and waited and waited. Do you know what happened? NOTHING! We never got it. No food at all. Well, there is the crusty dry food in the other dish, but that just isn’t the same and is not under any circumstances acceptable for breakfast.

So now here it is, nearly lunch time and I am still starving.

I have done everything I can think of to remind her that I am still here and still hungry. I may have to resort to drastic measures. I’d barf on the floor if there was anything in my stomach. I’d kick out tootsie rolls from the litter box if I thought she would understand that means “hungry”. I may have to crawl under the computer desk and start chewing cords.

Now that I have had not one, but TWO disasters with my website, I have installed a new Plugin called “WordPress Database Backup.” If you go under Plugins => Add New, do a search for wp-db-backup. It can do automatic back ups on various schedules. Mine is now set up for once a day. You know, in case I start writing daily or something. Here is the best part: it EMAILS the back up to me!

Bring it on clumsy human with the too-quick delete fingers, do your worst. By that I mean be gentle. I have yet to test this new feature, but I suspect that like any WP backup, it is only the text and not the images that are saved. I’m sure you still have to download the UPLOADS folder once in a while if you want to be able to restore images.

Recently Kaleesi had an experience with a cat “rescuer”. She went missing for six days. This is the photo that was on her Missing poster. The morning after the poster was put up, she mysteriously showed up at the door uninjured, fed and fine. I wonder if she visited our other two missing siblings while she was there.

People! Don’t take in cats just because they are outside!! If you do, call the pound first to report them found. Taking in “strays” is NOT OKAY!!

By the looks of these photos Kaleesi spends all her time nippin’. Not so. Sometimes she eats or sleeps. She isn’t allowed outside anymore because of the “rescuer”, but when she was, she was a mighty hunter. No bunny was safe. Now she just chases me and the occasional spider.

I think that from now on, my human should have to suffer through a tooth extraction every time my blog is destroyed! Maybe that will encourage a little more care and respect.

Checked internet archives first, nothing at all for BoogerTheCat.com except for a robots.txt file. What good is that?? My blog has been online for a year and internet archives has absolutely nothing!

Checked iGoogle for RSS feeds, nothing at all except the new Hello World! post. Who cares about that??

Today she happened to open up NetNewsWire on the Mac. Lo and behold, it had the last 10 posts!! No photos, videos or comments, but it’s a start. So here I am, back online, live, big and proud! For the last 10 posts anyway.

I will try to add photos and video over time.

Boogs

The humans have me on vomit-icine, which kills pain but tastes like vomit and rabies. The vet said it was shrimp flavored, but I’d like to see him eat it.

My human mom, who I used to love and cherish, is the evil wretch who forces this crap down my throat and stretches my legs for physical therapy. I have long since stopped talking to her or letting her pet me, or sleeping anywhere near her. I get up and leave if she tries to pet me now. She punishes me, I punish her. Simple as that. There are still five human siblings and a human dad that I can snuggle with.

Today the dad fed me the vomit-icine. How dare he! The sister was shining a red dot in my face. I actually trusted them up until today. This calls for more than just ignoring the bad people. This calls for retaliation.

So far today I have bit the tail off lappy (dad’s laptop) and am scratching and biting everyone who walks by me. It’s a start, but the day is young. Hmm… Maybe I can find a great big tractor over at the Ag Equipment Classifieds. I’d love to see them try to force this crap down my throat after I run them over a few times.

All the humans will feel the Wrath of Booger today!
