Starving. Need. Food.

Like every morning, I went in to wake the sleepy human mom this morning. I wouldn’t bother, but it’s the only way I can get my spoiled-kitty soft food for breakfast. It’s pretty easy to wake her up usually. I just tickle her with my fuzzy whiskers. Works almost every time. When it doesn’t work, teeth and claws are a great standby.
Anyway. Today I woke up the human as usual and Kaleesi went to the kitchen to wait for food. We waited and waited and waited. Do you know what happened? NOTHING! We never got it. No food at all. Well, there is the crusty dry food in the other dish, but that just isn’t the same and is not under any circumstances acceptable for breakfast.
So now here it is, nearly lunch time and I am still starving.
I have done everything I can think of to remind her that I am still here and still hungry. I may have to resort to drastic measures. I’d barf on the floor if there was anything in my stomach. I’d kick out tootsie rolls from the litter box if I thought she would understand that means “hungry”. I may have to crawl under the computer desk and start chewing cords.

WordPress Backup

Booger snuggling in fluff
Now that I have had not one, but TWO disasters with my website, I have installed a new Plugin called “WordPress Database Backup.” If you go under Plugins => Add New, do a search for wp-db-backup. It can do automatic back ups on various schedules. Mine is now set up for once a day. You know, in case I start writing daily or something. Here is the best part: it EMAILS the back up to me!
Bring it on clumsy human with the too-quick delete fingers, do your worst. By that I mean be gentle. I have yet to test this new feature, but I suspect that like any WP backup, it is only the text and not the images that are saved. I’m sure you still have to download the UPLOADS folder once in a while if you want to be able to restore images.

Packing Peanuts
Who ever thought packing peanuts could be so delicious? Well not delicious specifically, since they are made of fluffy corn starch, but they have just the right texture and crunch. I just couldn’t keep my teeth out of them!

Gotta get me a face full of that

Need your blog links!
Before my blog was destroyed by stupid humans, I had a nice collection of links to my kitty (and some puppy) friends’ blogs. Sadly, it’s all gone now. Help me build up my link collection again and SEND ME LINKS TO YOUR BLOGS! Anything animal related is fine.

My Blog is Back!! Well, Mostly
My idiot human deleted my entire blog a couple of weeks ago. FOR THE SECOND TIME. This is beyond idiocy, this is complete and utter disrespect. I have been whining and crying about this blank blog for a while now, and finally today she had time to deal with it.
Checked internet archives first, nothing at all for BoogerTheCat.com except for a robots.txt file. What good is that?? My blog has been online for a year and internet archives has absolutely nothing!
Checked iGoogle for RSS feeds, nothing at all except the new Hello World! post. Who cares about that??
Today she happened to open up NetNewsWire on the Mac. Lo and behold, it had the last 10 posts!! No photos, videos or comments, but it’s a start. So here I am, back online, live, big and proud! For the last 10 posts anyway.
I will try to add photos and video over time.
*******
If anyone has an archive of the KITTY ROLL page and can send it to me, I will love you forever and link to you endlessly.
Thanks!

Booger Bath
You’ve heard the Smelly Cat song, right? It wasn’t written about me I swear. Those humans just have sensitive noses is all. Anyway, about every month or so they decide I need a bath. I would love to disagree, but they have their evil ways of getting me in the tub. They let the “baby” Drake, take a bath with me. Why, you ask? Simple. I will not hurt Drake. He is one of my best human friends. Instead, I hang out in the bathtub getting washed and watered and wait patiently until he lets me out. Really, when you take a bath this way it’s not so bad. The only thing I really don’t like is staying wet for so long. I have thick fur people! They have tried to blow-dry me, but holy crap that thing is scary loud. I’d rather be wet.
