I’m back! Life is good again.

Broken

The humans wait on me hand and foot so I don’t have to get up.

I am finally home, somewhat rested and have time to write a post.

I got home Wednesday afternoon after four nights at the Vet in Bemidji. Interestingly enough, he said there was no bone deterioration and thought it was odd that the Vets in Fargo-Moorhead even suspected it in a 23 month old tabby cat. I’m SOOO glad mom didn’t listen to them and put me to sleep forever.

The first few days I was home, I did everything possible to drag myself to secluded hiding spots and stay out of view. Since yesterday I have been somewhat back to my old self, only moving to be closer to people and find the next really soft spot to lay. Getting around is tough, so luckily the humans bring me food and tend to my every need. I am off the pain medication now and only have one more day of antibiotics. Yuck.

Next week I will go in to a new local Vet to have my staples removed. Well, the ones I haven’t chewed out by then. These little buggers sure are annoying!

Life is good again. I am off the toilet training indefinitely (I win!), humans are giving me tasty soft food, I got three new plague rats, and Kaleesi is being nice. By nice, I mean she is walking past me instead of all the way around and has even walked up and sniffed me. And took my rat. Maybe that had something to do with it.

    • I'd like to register a formal complaint about the state of my cat box. This is completely unacceptable.
    • I caught a moth. A really big one. Sure it was dead when I caught it, but it looks lively if I bat it around enough.
    • Kaleesi is chasing squirrels, I'm chasing Kaleesi! One of us has our priorities straight. ;)
    • This might be Booger proof, but I'd have to test it first. http://t.co/ZeFBl84
    • @EmmytheCat Nice job with the water! That's how I got the remotes and cell phone. Laptops are usually harder to destroy.
    • @EmmytheCat Emmy dear, there is no such thing as "Booger proof". I am proof enough of that. :)
    • Running tally of Booger distruction: 2 laptops, 2 remote controls, 1 cell phone, ENDLESS blankets and carpets. I'm just that good.
    • Score! A Two-fer! I pushed a sculpture off a shelf right onto mom's MacBookPro. Broke em both!! Ignore me now, human.
    • I'd break myself on this for sure. http://t.co/kLGXPRh
    • @TheCatsDiary Bird or mouse sauce? Is that like butt sauce? I have that. You mean red sauce that comes out of birds? I left it on the step.
